Biography: Sherri Panchaud Onorati has always loved history and has been researching her family history for more than 25 years - a love born from the stories of her Great Auntie Audie. She began her research journey while serving in the United States Navy, and although she retired from the Navy after serving 23 years in 2006, she is far from retiring her family history search! A Jill-of-all-trades, she has taught high school remedial reading, works as a freelance reporter for The Leader, a board operator and bookkeeper for US 51 Country 93.5FM and Covington Broadcasting. She is a Tennessee Archives Institute graduate and a certified archives manager, and she is currently the archivist and program coordinator for the Tipton County Museum. Sherri currently writes three blogs, including one for the Tennessee Genealogical Society, the Tipton County Museum's Beneath the Dirt, and her own personal blog, Family Heirlooms, and maintains three websites. In her spare time, Sherri teaches a beginning genealogy course in Tipton County, acts as the president of the Friends of the Tipton County Public Library group and secretary for her motorcycle club. She is married and has three sons and two grandsons and has been a resident of TN and Tipton County for the past 17 years.
