GENEALOGY 101-DEBBIE ATCHLEY-REMOTE-MEMBERS ONLY
Registration Deadline Fri May 1 10:00 a.m.
Whether you are a complete beginner to genealogical research or want a refresher of methods, procedures and new resources, this should be a useful class. Remember, not all records are online and not everything online is correct. This class is usually the kickoff to the TNGS GENEALOGY 101 series of classes. TNGS plans to offer a few more in the series in the coming months, via the webinar format due to our current circumstances, and the titles of those will be announced later. Deborah Towne Atchley has been an active member of the Tennessee Genealogical Society (TNGS) since 2008, initially presenting the Let’s Discuss It program for the group. Prior to joining TNGS, she was a member of the Memphis PAF User’s group. She is a member of several other genealogical organizations including the Towne Family Association. She began her personal genealogy research in 1977 after watching the series, Roots, on TV.
