From HOW to WHO 101-The African-American Family Beginners Search in Finding Who We Are by Constance Terry-Morris
This is a webinar created out of an interest and hobby. This freshman session has grown to a platform of educating others on "HOW" to discover "WHO" in online records, and documentation of families of African-American ancestry. The presentation will also point out places beyond the online databases that can be useful when documenting a family's history. Electronic materials are provided for download.
Constance Terry-Morris began her interest in family genealogy as a child. Over 50 years ago asking questions of her Grandparents, Parents, and their siblings(labeled as interviews) was one of her highlights of summer and Christmas visits to Tennessee. As an educator she believes that knowledge of ancestry is an important part of self-awareness. Constance has combined being an educator, her education and training through Legacy webinars and her love for family study to share her "how to's" of family research. She is more than excited when others make their family discoveries. Her creation of "From HOW to WHO 101-The African-American Family Beginners Search In Finding Who We Are" webinar displays her niche for family research.
