Gen 101 - Organizing & Record Keeping for Genealogy

by PZ Horton

Learn different approaches to organizing the results of your research so you can more easily find things and protect your investment.

PZ is an amateur genealogist with a special interest in technology. He has been working on his and his wife's family genealogies for over 37 years and has worked with computers for over 55 years. He has traveled to societies, libraries, courthouses and cemeteries in 26 states. He was Technical Advisor to the Board of the Tennessee Genealogical Society and currently serves as a Special Advisor. He has taught genealogy technology classes on Family Tree Maker, Ancestry, RootsMagic, MyHeritage and Family Search.

Access will be through GoToWebinar. Instructions and Connectivity Link will be forwarded via email to all registrants upon registration, six days prior and again 1 hour prior to the event. Making the connection is quick and easy only requiring a computer and Internet connectivity from wherever you chose to watch the event. Your questions help drive the meetings, and we will be there to help each other.
