Researching your Civil War Military Ancestor from the Battle of Chickamauga and Surrounding Battlefields 

Jim Ogden, the Chickamauga National Military Park Historian, will give an overview of the Battle at Chickamauga, the units involved in the battle, and guide us on how to research our ancestors who may have been involved in the Chickamauga Battle and surrounding battles during the Civil War.

Jim is an "encyclopedic historian" of Civil War and local history.  He has spent his career since 1982 with the National Park Service, but primarily with the Chickamauga National Battlefield.   He has at least 8 video presentations on C-Span, and is a frequent speaker on Civil War History.  General James Longstreet's Assault at Chickamauga | C-SPAN.org

Access will be through GoToWebinar. Instructions and Connectivity Link will be forwarded via email to all registrants upon registration, six days prior and again 1 hour prior to the event.
