Carla Love Maitland will give a beginner’s overview of where to start your search for the military records of your ancestors and relatives. She will give a variety of examples that will show the attendee where to look for those records and how to use them once you’ve found them.

Carla is the current president of the Tennessee Genealogical Society and has been researching her family since the mid-1970s. She is also a member of a number of lineage societies that required proof of military service for her ancestors.
