The Country Store on the Frontier explains the role of early country stores, store records, store owners, the kinds of goods available, and how farmers made payments accompanied by a bibliography of sources.

Our speaker for the meeting is Ann Blomquist. Ann K. Blomquist, M.Ed., is the administrator of the First Families of TN program at the East TN Historical Society in Knoxville. She is the author of 13 genealogy books, the editor of three genealogy magazines, and a presenter at genealogy conferences and workshops.
