Having a Native American ancestor is probably one of the most common stories among families, especially in the southeastern United States. The question is, how can you find out for sure? This program is designed for beginner and experienced researchers alike who want to zero in on this mysterious ancestor with specific techniques, and record sources that the family historian can consult to learn if your ancestor was truly Native or not. We'll also talk about the advances in DNA testing and what that can and cannot tell us.
