PZ Horton is an amateur genealogist with a special interest in technology. He has been working on his and his wife’s family genealogies for over 40 years and has worked with computers for over 60 years. He has traveled to societies, libraries, courthouses and cemeteries in 26 states. He was Technical Advisor to the Board of the Tennessee Genealogical Society and Special Advisor before being elected Director at Large. He has taught genealogy classes on Family Tree Maker, Ancestry, RootsMagic, MyHeritage, Family Search, Organizing for Genealogy, Planning a Successful Research Trip. and state research in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
He is a lineage member of over 50 societies.
